Artist Opening/Meet and Greet

Finally, after you all have waited so long to meet them, they are BOTH going to be here, at The Gift Itself for ONE NIGHT ONLY!!!! That's right, Allen Charles Buch and Miss Megan Deprey will be amazing us with their talent and eye for beauty.

Megan, painter and woodburning artist, has been on display with us for a little over a year featuring her one of a kind, hand painted canvases and burned wood art. Her paintings are iconic and timeless. With minimal color and a lot of texture, she is able to capture her subjects in paint flawlessly. More recently, Megan figured out an awesome way of combining her love for music and art into one. She started assembling ukuleles and burning her art work into the unfinished wood of the instruments. Not only that, they are fully functional!

Allen, a talented metal smith and bench jeweler will be showcasing a collection of his newest work. Without giving away too much, you can expect quite a bit of silver and a lot of stunning, natural stones. Allen's has been an active jewelry maker for over 20 years and he was co-founder of The Gift Itself. Currently he enjoys the semi-retired life and continues to create in the comfort of his home studio.

So, grab a friend, come on down to The Gift Itself April 1st (no joke ;) ), enjoy orginal works of art, chat with the artisan, have a few snacks and drink. It would be great to see you!
