This size 6 Sterling Silver ring features a 20 X 17 quartz drusy. The drusy has several interesting aspects, first-the naturally clear drusy crystals have a vapor deposition layer of copper and secondly-the stone gives the apperance of two images, depending on which way you view them. One view(if you squint a little) is of a horse and rider while the other image portrays a running man. On a more symbolic and mushy note, when you look at the ring from the ends it has an O while the sides have X's. I have carved (and discarded) more waxes for this stone than any other one the gift has ever owned. Your pal in art, Al

This sterling silver ring is a completly spontaneous design that was not done with any particular client in mind. I found a wax blank that I started six or seven years ago. It was a large blank with a large seat carved for a moderatly huge round stone in the center. I remembered the two point five seven Citrine and the four- point four five bullit Aqua Marines wiggled in of thier own accord. (up-side down). This ring has patinated cross hatching and the shank has five piercings in it. I enjoyed building this ring and I hope you enjoy wearing it.

This Friday evening we will be celebrating the 16th Valentine's Day Reception here, at The Gift Itself. From 6:00 - 9:00 PM we will be providing refreshments and snacks as well as all of those fantastic gifts for the upcoming holiday. Bring your sweetie along and show them what you like!  These lovely ladies came into The Gift Itself today for a fun birthday party filled with magical ornament making. Each of them made a collection which they could take home and hang on their family trees! They used paints, markers, pipe cleaners, fun wood shapes, glue, cotton puffs in multi colors, and just about anything we could share with them. It was a joy to have all of them with us as we celebrate birthdays and this wonderful season!
