We offer many types of classes, including but not limited to...
Mosaics, Rivits and Cold Connections (for jewelry and sculpture), Beading Classes, Wire Wrapping Classes, Sandblasting, and more. We will be expanding our classes and our instructors, so please check back often for additions. If you have any special requests, please let us know. Please note, people under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. These classes are for everyone and you do not need any previous experience to take a class. Advanced students are also encouraged to sign up, the opportunity to learn something new is always available.
Please note: Call and reserve your place is any class, we need to know how many will be in each class so that we have materials for all.
CLASSES
BIG PERSON AND ME CLASSES, Whether it is Mom and me, Dad and me, Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle, Aunt or just a great, big person, these classes will be geared toward adult/child projects, with a project to create and take home.
ADULT CLASSES, no experience needed, our wonderful, experienced staff is ready to help!
MASTER LEVEL CLASSES, these classes are taught over several days and allow the student to delve deeply into the techniques and concepts presented. A basic knowledge of tools required, please call with any questions.

Mosaic Pendant ClassYou will learn the basic use of tools and assemble a mosaic on the surface of a slate pendant. When the class is complete you will be able to wear your own mosaic pendant home with you! $30.00 per person. Instructor: Rachel Sowinski
Basic Beading for KidsIt's just like the title says, we will teach you the down and dirty basics of beading. We will teach what tools to use, what findings work well and once you are completed, you get to go home with the piece you put together in class. Kids are more than welcome to attend this class, however they must be accompanied by an adult. $25.00 per person (unless helping your child artist!) Instructor: Rachel Sowinski
Wire Wrapping with Agates Level 1Learn how to use the tools of the trade, fabricate wire and leave with a pendant that you created in class! This class is a prerequisite for Found Objects Pendant Class Level 2. $40.00 per person. Instructor: Rachel Sowinski
2 Day Carve A Charm Level 1 ClassBring you ideas of a favorite symbol. Learn to carve wax to create a personal charm. No experience needed. Al (instructor) will guide you through the wax carving process and teach you about the lost wax technique of jewelry creation. You was will be cast in sterling silver (gold available upon request) and finished by our staff and will be ready for pick up the following week. $125.00 per person. Instructor: Allen Buch
Basic Jewelry Skills You will be learning basic techniques such as using a jewelry saw frame, blades, piercing, filing, and cleaning to produce a finished piece of jewelry. These techniques help in the process of basic jewelry fabrication. This class is a prerequisite for Found Objects Pendant Class and Cold Connections Level 2. $60.00 per person.
Mosaic Mirror Class This class offers you a hands on look at using tools involved with mosaic making as well as designing a finished piece. You will lay down all tiles in class and glue them down to the surface of your project. Once you complete glueing the tiles, we hold onto it for you while it dries, then we grout it for you. Grouting can be completed over night. When you come to pick them up, they will be ready to hang on your wall! $35.00 per person. Instructor: Rachel Sowinski
Found Objects Pendant Class
Supplies Needed: Shiny little bits of goofy things you've saved because you knew it could be something! No tools required, however if you would like, you can bring tools you feel are necessary.
This class will explore jewelry making with all of the things you have saved over the years. Now is the time to clean out your drawers and make creative, fun jewelry with the things you have been saving. Using different techniques taught in the Wire Wrapping class or Basic Jewelry Skills class, you will walk away with one of a kind pieces that mean something to you! Wire Wrapping class and Basic Jewelry Skills level 1 class are prerequisites for this class.
2 Day Basic Jewelry Skills Level 2 ClassYou will be learning basic techniques such as using a jewelry saw frame, blades, piercing, filing, and cleaning to produce a finished piece of jewelry. These techniques help in the process of basic jewelry fabrication. In addition you will learn how to use a high tempature torch and soldering techniques.
2 Day Cold Connections Level 2 Class
Using techniques learned in Basic Jewelry Skills Level 1 you will have the opportunity to advance you knowledge of jewelry creation with this level 2 class in cold connections. You will learn how to connect various pieces of metal together with the use of rivets and working with tiny nuts and bolts, and wire work.
MASTERLEVEL CLASSES
MASTER LEVEL COLD CONNECTION CLASS
Take the time to learn the many techniques of cold connections, no glue, just a way to connect different materials with rivits, screws, and wrapping. A basic knowledge of tools required, but a great way to make a leap into a new world of jewelry making. Anything is possible! $375.00 Instructor: Michelle Zjala Winter
